Location: Dhaka (Banani)
Role Overview
An iOS Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced iOS applications using Swift and UIKit (or SwiftUI as applicable).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers, to define and implement features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while following best practices and coding standards.
- Debug and resolve application performance and stability issues.
- Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and SDKs as required.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain a high-quality codebase.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the app through new feature development and optimization.
- Stay updated with the latest iOS trends, tools, and technologies to improve the development process.
Requirements
Experience:
- 2-4 years of professional experience in iOS app development.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Swift and experience with Objective-C is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of UIKit, SwiftUI, and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
- Familiarity with Core Data, Core Animation, or similar frameworks.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON/XML.
- Knowledge of MVVM, MVC, or other architectural patterns.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems, especially Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Bitrise, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of push notifications, background processing, and offline storage.
